The purpose of this independent contractor position is to develop industry-managed special process Bodies of Knowledge and Examinations for industries where safety and quality are shared goals

Responsibilities

Being an PRI Qualification Content Developer involves:

  • Developing special process Bodies of Knowledge (BoK)  
  • Attending teleconference calls, supported by PRI staff
  • Development of industry exams based on the Bodies of Knowledge (BoK) 
  • Responding to questions and concerns
  • Representing PRI to our customers by acting professionally at all times
  • Researching topics to include in Bodies of Knowledge (BoK) and exams
  • Verifying the technical accuracy of information
  • Completing projects within a timely manor
  • Understanding of what it means to work as an independent contractor and willingness to engage with PRI in that capacity
  • Commitment to preserving the integrity and maintaining strict confidentiality, and to avoid all conflicts of interest
  • Expertise in one or more technologies
  • Excellent organizational skills in both oral and written capacities
  • Positive, diplomatic, and professional with customers (internal and external) and peers at all times

Qualifications

The ideal PRI Qualification Content Developer candidate will possess most of the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma plus minimum of 10 years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and 5 years working knowledge
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the following processes: Brazing, Coatings Application, Composite Repair, Chemical Processing, Heat Treatment and Welding
  • Thorough understanding of developing course materials
  • Thorough understanding of aerospace specs, processes and equipment
